The kitchen is the most popular room in the home. It’s the place where you share meals and share your lives together with family and friends and the room where everyone gathers when entertaining guests. That may be why more prospective homebuyers will inspect the kitchen first before any other room in the house and if they like the look and feel of the space, that can often sway their decision on whether or not to purchase the property.
A tired, outdated kitchen with old fixtures, broken cabinets, and obsolete appliances can have an adverse effect on your home and make your favorite room in the room a little less functional and enjoyable. You don’t have to live with that tired, outdated kitchen when you can update and modernize it with the team at NYC Kitchen and Bath.
Our kitchen renovation experts are here to help you transform your favorite room in the home with custom cabinets, brand new countertops, the latest appliances, a new floor, a new backsplash, you name it, we can do it!

You may know precisely what you want for your space, or you’re not sure exactly how you want your kitchen to look, but at least you know what you don’t like about it – our team can help you realize the kitchen you really want.
You will be assigned one of our highly skilled project managers who will be your main contact and liaison for the duration of the project. Since we do everything in-house, that keeps your kitchen renovation costs down and makes it easier for you to stay involved and informed without the need for reaching out to multiple contractors and personnel across multiple departments. One contact, one call, and you can get updates, ask questions and address any concerns you may have during the project.
As we work with you to develop your new kitchen, our design team will create a three-dimensional rendering of the space so you can see exactly what it will look like in your home when the job is complete.
The preparation stage of the project starts with your assigned project manager coming to your home to take measurements and gather other data on your space. You can take this opportunity to discuss any further ideas for expansion or additional components that you would like in your kitchen, such as an island, a different size sink, or extra storage space.
Once we have all of the measurements and specifications for your new kitchen, our design team builds the 3D rendering of your kitchen. Here you’ll see everything you have identified as essential to your new renovation project with all of the surfaces, countertops, backsplash, fixtures, handles, everything that you will see in your actual kitchen when it’s complete.
We want to make sure you love your new remodeled kitchen, so if there are any changes, adjustments, additions, you want to apply to the project, be sure to let us know and the design team will update the layout as per your instructions. If you want the kitchen to be a different color or you prefer a certain type of surface that you feel would match better in your home, just tell us and we’ll apply those changes immediately.
Once you are happy with the layout and you are ready to move forward with the renovation, you will make your initial payment for the work, all of the necessary materials are ordered, and a date scheduled to begin construction of your brand new kitchen.
At this time, we recommend you review the current rules and regulations of your HOA or condominium board in case you are required to have your kitchen renovation or remodel pre-approved ahead of our arrival for the construction phase of the project.
After that, leave the rest to us and we will secure all of the mandatory permits and building materials needed to start construction on your new kitchen.
Working from your approved 3D rendering of your new kitchen, our team of contractors arrives at your home to start construction on your new kitchen. The first step is removing your appliances from the space, if any of them are being replaced, the old ones are hauled away and any appliances that are remaining are temporarily relocated.
Next, the demolition phase begins. We tear out your cabinets, countertops, flooring, fixtures, any components that are being replaced or upgraded are removed. Electrical and plumbing lines and systems are updated or converted.
Once that’s all complete, your new components are brought in and installed, after that your appliances are hooked up, and finally we paint and detail the kitchen as per your exact specifications.
Before you know it, the brand new kitchen you’ve always dreamed of is now a reality.

However, it’s important to understand that while we take every precaution to reduce the levels of dust, noise, and other disruptions to help you and your family remain comfortable during the renovation process, we cannot guarantee these efforts will always be successful. Keep in mind that you will not have access to the kitchen until the project is complete and since this could take weeks or months, we recommend that you make alternate arrangements for preparing and storing food during that time.

Homes that have been given a kitchen renovation can enjoy a return on investment in the range one third to one half of the spend on the project. But keep in mind, a variety of factors contribute to the size of that return, such as the region where the home is located, the strength of the market, and other factors that can have an impact.
A kitchen renovation or remodel provides many useful benefits and your home’s sale price can increase. But even if you don’t plan to sell anytime soon, you can still enjoy the benefits of a modern, fully functional and efficient new kitchen for as long as you live in your home.
