Designing Your Dream Kitchen
Achieving your particular vision for your new kitchen starts with designing that space with an eye towards updating, modernizing, or remodeling entirely.. Depending on the scope and size of the project you have envisioned, the design process may take one to two weeks.
As we begin to design your kitchen, bring in every idea you have in mind. You may already have a very specific vision of what you want or you may only know what you don’t like about your current kitchen. We will help build out a new and revitalized version of the kitchen for you, incorporating all of the features and components you want, be it custom cabinets and surfaces, new fixtures, increased functionality, or a new color scheme. The Construction Phase Part I: Preparing to Remodel Your New Kitchen
The construction phase of your remodel starts by incorporating all of the elements you have identified as important for bringing your new kitchen to life in the design phase. We take that information and create a 3D rendering of your new kitchen for an accurate, easy to view depiction of what your dream kitchen will look like when the project is complete.
01. Take measurements of the space
Preparations begin with your assigned project manager visiting your home to take measurements of the space, review the planned renovation or remodel you are anticipating, and apply this data to the project design. Feel free to ask any questions and bring up any new ideas or additions you may have in mind for your new kitchen.
02. Build the 3D rendering of the space
Once the measurements and specifications for the current space are established, we update and finish the 3D model of your kitchen project. Here you will be able to see the digital version of your kitchen as it will look when the project is finished, including the countertops, backsplash, surfaces, materials, fixtures, handles, and any other essential elements and tiny details in accurate digital depiction of the kitchen when completed.
03. Discuss and feedback
We want you to love your new kitchen, so don’t hesitate to express any last minute ideas or changes you wish to make before we begin the next part of the construction phase. This is the kitchen of your dreams and you want it perfect. If you are pleased with the new layout and you are ready to move forward, we will request your initial payment, order all of the materials for the job and schedule a date to start construction of your brand new kitchen.
Before we begin, it’s very important that you review the rules and regulations that govern your condo or HOA with respect to making significant changes to your home. If our renovation plans need to be pre-approved before construction begins, that must be obtained prior to work start.
Then, once all of those requirements have been satisfied, our team will gather all of the building materials and secure any permits necessary to start construction.
The Construction Phase Part II: Building Your New Kitchen
Using your approved 3D rendering as the blueprint, our team will begin construction. This starts with removing your appliances prior to demolition, which includes removal of any cabinets, countertops, flooring, whichever elements of the kitchen that are going to be replaced.
Electrical and plumbing lines and systems are also updated or converted as necessary based on the design of the project.
Walls are removed, renovated, or repaired, new extensions or spaces for any built-ins or new windows are created. Our team will install your new cabinets, new flooring, new backsplash, new surfaces, any new lighting and new plumbing and fixtures, all based on the 3D model that we’ve created.
Once all of these elements are installed and finished, we hook up your new or current appliances in the chosen positions in the kitchen. Finally, we paint and detail your new dream kitchen to complete the project.
Construction and Product Warranties
All of the components of your new kitchen remodel are covered under warranty. NYC Kitchen and Bath offers a one-year warranty for all labor. Most of the components, from the building materials to the appliances, are each covered by their own separate warranties. Some of them come with a warranty of five years or more with full protection against material or manufacturing defects, others offer a lifetime warranty that has you covered for as long as you own the materials or appliances installed in your kitchen.

Most kitchen renovation projects do require that we secure the necessary permits and have inspections performed on the work, particularly on jobs where electrical systems and plumbing have been upgraded or fully replaced. We will obtain all necessary permits and schedule inspections as required to complete your kitchen renovation.
Yes. But keep in mind, while we take every precaution to reduce the amount of dust, noise, and disruptions during the project, you will not have access to your kitchen until the project is fully completed. As renovations may take weeks or even months, we recommend that you secure alternatives for storing and preparing food and accessing any other items in the kitchen prior to the start of construction.
We are able to accommodate this request by offering energy-efficient appliances and products made from sustainable materials anytime these options are available based on the specifications of the renovation.
