We take you through every phase of the renovation process, from the initial design phase to the completion phase. The Design Phase
The design phase of a kitchen renovation project will typically take anywhere from one to two weeks depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We help you develop the layout of your new kitchen and any other components that make up your particular vision for the home. Even if you’re not exactly sure what that vision looks like yet, we can help you realize the aesthetic you want by giving you options – plenty of options – when it comes to just about every aspect of the kitchen, from floor to ceiling. We take all of the components that you want in your new kitchen and create a three-dimensional rendering of what your kitchen will look like when the job is complete. We make sure you are fully satisfied before moving forward with any other phase of the project. Your kitchen renovation project will be supervised by one of our project managers from start to finish, so you won’t be left trying to deal with multiple personnel and multiple departments just to get the answer to a simple question about the status of your new kitchen.

Once the design phase is complete and you love the look of your new kitchen to come, we begin the construction phase.
The Construction Phase - Prep Stage
We prepare for the construction phase by visiting your home and gathering measurements and exact specifications of the space where your kitchen currently exists. Feel free to discuss any further ideas or questions you may have about the project. Perhaps you want more storage space or you’ve decided to install an island or change the style of surfaces for your countertops.
01. Take measurements of the space
After we take all of the measurements and apply your specifications to your kitchen renovation project, we update the 3D rendering of the space, if necessary. This will give you another opportunity to inspect and examine everything that has been selected for your kitchen renovation including the cabinets, flooring, countertops, the backsplash, surfaces, fixtures, handles, all of it – from the major essentials to the tiny details.
If you are happy with the layout, colors, patterns, and every other aspect of the project, that means we are ready to move forward to the next stage.
02. Build the 3D rendering of the space
At this point, you are expected to make the initial payment on the project, all of the building and project materials are ordered, and a date to begin construction of your brand new kitchen remodel is scheduled for a date at your convenience
03. Discuss and feedback
If your home is governed by a condominium board or HOA, it’s very important for you to read through the rules and regulations to determine if these renovations plans need to be pre-approved before our team arrives to start work.
But if you are free and clear to renovate and remodel at your own discretion, then you just leave everything else to us in securing all of the building materials and necessary permits to begin construction on your new kitchen.
The Construction Phase - Build Stage
Using your approved 3D rendering, the build stage of the construction phase begins. This involves first removing or relocating appliances. Some may be staying, some may be getting replaced, but all of it has to be taken out of the space for now. Next, we begin demolition of the kitchen, removing everything that is getting renovated or replaced including countertops, cabinets, flooring, even walls that have been tagged for removal to open up the space to expand the size of the kitchen. Electrical and plumbing systems are updated or converted as needed.
After the demolition portion is complete, it’s to rebuild and install your new flooring, new backsplash, new countertops and surfaces, new fixtures, whatever the project calls for based on the 3D model of your renovation or remodeling project.
Once construction is finished, the final portion of the job includes replacing your appliances and/or installing the new appliances that you have ordered. Finally, with everything installed and reattached, hooked up and in position, we paint and detail the kitchen to ensure it matches the three-dimensional rendering.
Kitchen Renovation Warranties
Every component of your kitchen renovation project is protected by a warranty. All labor performed by NYC Kitchen & Bath is covered by a one-year warranty. The building materials, appliances, and elements that comprise your renovated kitchen are covered by their own separate warranties which can range with limited terms to lifetime coverage against product or manufacturer’s defects for as long as you own them.

Yes. But keep in mind you will not be able to access your kitchen while the renovations are being performed. While we take every precaution to reduce the level of dust, noise, and other disruptions to help you and your family remain comfortable during the renovation process, we advise you to secure alternate food prep and storage arrangements for weeks or even months.
We are able to offer energy-efficient appliances and products made from sustainable materials, when available. Make this request for incorporating eco-friendly options in your kitchen remodel during the consultation phase so you are fully satisfied with your new kitchen.
